Initial Contact
You should expect to start counseling sessions once you contact BestAide Counseling within a couple of days.
We can make some decisions about logistics together by sending a quick email or in a phone conversation. Most clients meet each week for 90 minute sessions while others meet every other week.
We provide Virtual Counseling Sessions or Online Zoom Sessions.
No set number of sessions are recommended for our clients as each person and situation is different and requires special care and timing. Communicate Your Way Messaging – Chat – Phone – Video – Email. Converse with your counselor the way you feel best.
Payment Information
Fees
Our fees are based on a complete session of 60 or 90 minutes. The cost of Biblical Counseling through BestAide ranges from $175 – $225 per week (with a 30% discount if charged at regular intervals every 4 weeks) and is based on your location, your presenting issues and counselor availability. You can cancel your regular interval billing arrangement at any time for any reason. You can also get a 30% discount if you are a member or regular attender of a partner church. This discount is not valid if you already have an existing discount. We issue super bills upon receipt of payment for insurance reimbursement to the client.
Payment
Invoices will be sent via email and payable online.
Insurance
BestAide Counseling does bill insurance carriers with which we are panelled. But for the insurance carriers that BestAide Counseling does not accept, the client will be expected to pay out of pocket. However, for such client is super-bill will be issued for reimbursement by their insurance company. For each session, our counsellors can provide you with a receipt to submit to your provider. At the time of service, payment is due.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
Do I have marriage and family counseling insurance benefits?
Does my insurance cover services for an “out of network” provider?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Does my insurance require a licensed counselor?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Cancellation Policy
If you do not appear for your scheduled counseling appointment and have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a 50% cancellation fee.
